Nice location: close to the train station, bus station and boat station at the same time. Very clean rooms. Nice bathroom staff like shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Really nice and kind reception staff.

Quiet and Comfy in Cannaregio
We chose the Cannaregio neighbourhood after some recommendations from friends who had been the previous year and so glad we did. We went with this small family run hotel due to its reviews and location and it didn't disappoint. The main reception is at the sister hotel across the cobblestone street, this isn't an issue, just handy to know upon arrival.;) It was a fairly small room, though this is typical of Venice but beautifully fitted out and very comfortable. We were on the top floor and had a sloping ceiling in the bathroom which my 6'2 husband sometimes connected with. We had a gorgeous sunrise view across the roof tops of Venice out of window! Breakfast wasn't included which we didn't mind as it gave us the opportunity to find our 'local' for coffee and pastries... Yum! There were quite a few stairs to our room, once again it feels a part of the whole Italian experience!
